Answer
A missing verification email is usually a filtered message, or an address that was typed wrong. The link in that email confirms the account. Rewards and Swagstakes stay closed until that link is opened.
When this applies
This fits when the verification email has not arrived, the link in it does not open, or the security code on signup keeps failing.
Changing the email address after the account exists is a different page. How do I change my email address? explains that.
What to do
- Confirm the email address was spelled correctly at registration.
- Check the spam, bulk, and junk folders.
- Add info@swagbucks.com to the safe-sender list so later messages can reach the inbox.
- Wait up to 20 minutes, then look in the inbox and the spam folder again.
- Open the link in the newest verification email.
If the email address was wrong
A misspelled address will not receive the message. Update it with How do I change my email address?, then request a new verification email.
If the link does not open
- Copy the full link from the email and paste it into the browser’s address bar. The whole address has to be included.
- Open that link in a different browser, or in a private window.
- If the link has expired, request a new verification email and use the newest one.
If the security code on signup fails
The security code on the signup form confirms a real person. It is case sensitive.
- Enter the uppercase and lowercase letters exactly as shown, with no spaces before or after.
- If the characters are hard to read, choose the refresh icon and use the new code.
- If the code will not load or submit, try a different browser or a private window.
If that didn't work
Request one new verification email after the safe-sender step, and use only that newest link. An older link stops working once a new email is sent.
