Swag Up Details

When redeeming a Swag Up Rebate the gift card redeemed must have a SB cost that is greater than that of your Swag Up Rebate. In other words, if your Swag Up Rebate has a value of 500 SB you can only redeem it for a gift card with a redemption value greater than 500 SB.

For those that have more than 1 active Swag Up Rebate on their account, the redemptions are based on expiration date. This means the Swag Up Rebate that expires first is the one that will be first credited when you redeem SB for a gift card.

If the Swag Up that’s next in order to be applied to your gift card purchase is greater in value than the cost of your gift card, then we’ll try to apply the Swag Up that’s next in order to be applied to gift card purchase.

We know, it’s confusing so, let’s use a couple of examples to help explain this.

Assume you have the following Swag Ups.

Expiration Date Swag Up Rebate Value
8/20/2021 400 SB
8/30/2021 25 SB
9/1/2021 100 SB

In this scenario, the Swag Up Rebate that is supposed to be applied to your next gift card order is the 400 SB Swag Up Rebate that expires on 8/20/2021 (remember, currently, Swag Ups work on a date of expiration basis.) Let’s say you want to cash-out for a $3 Amazon Gift Card for 300 SB. This 400 SB Swag Up would not be applied to your order because the rebate value of that Swag Up (400 SB) is greater than the cost of the $3 gift card, which is 300 SB. So, our system will use the Swag Up Rebate that would next be applied to a gift card purchase. In this case, our system would apply the 25 SB Swag Up Rebate that expires on 8/30/2021.

Now assume you have the same schedule of Swag Ups.

Expiration Date Swagup Rebate Value
8/20/2021 400 SB
8/30/2021 25 SB
9/1/2021 100 SB

As in the previous example, the Swag Up Rebate that is supposed to be applied to your next gift card order is the 400 SB Swag Up Rebate that expires on 8/20/2021 (remember, currently, Swag Ups work on a date of expiration basis.) Let’s say you want to cash-out for a $5 Walmart Gift Card for 500 SB. This 400 SB Swag Up would be applied to your order because the rebate value of that Swag Up (400 SB) is less than the cost of the $5 gift card, which is 500 SB.
