Answer
A Swag Code is a short string of letters and numbers that awards SB when it is entered before it expires. Each code is case-sensitive and has no spaces. The SB amount is shown when the code is released, and it can be as low as 1 SB.
When this applies
This fits when a Swag Code is available, when an alert says a code is active, or when a code will not apply.
What to do
- Install the SwagButton or the browser extension from swagbucks.com/extension. On the SwagButton, choose Check for Swag Code. The Chrome and Firefox extensions can alert when a code is active. On the Android or iOS app, turn on push notifications.
- The alert names where to look. A code can be on Facebook, Twitter, the blog, a Shop page, or a Swagstakes description. A code can also appear somewhere else on Swagbucks.
- Enter the code exactly as it appears, in the SwagButton, in the mobile app, or on the Swag Codes page. In the Android or iOS app, the Lock icon in the upper right is where the code is entered.
- A message confirms the SB when the code is entered correctly and has not expired.
Codes often show up about once a day. Some days have none, and some days have more than one. A code can last a few minutes or a few days, or it can be limited by how many members redeem it. The expiration time or the redemption limit is shown when the code is released.
An active Swag Code can be shared. A sign-up code or a randomized code cannot be shared.
If that didn't work
A code fails when it is typed differently from the original, when a pasted code has a space before or after it, when it has expired, when it was already used, or when it is entered on a site other than Swagbucks.
A code on another website can be real. Those codes are sometimes only for a new member during registration.
When to contact us
A code that was mistyped, already used, or expired does not need a ticket. Use the Help page when a code on a non-Swagbucks site looks invalid.
