Swagbucks Daily Trivia is a free app for iOS and Android. Daily Trivia Live is a hosted game on Monday through Thursday. The Daily Trivia Challenge can be played once a day when a live game is not on. A player has to be a US resident and at least 13.
When this applies
This fits when the question is how a live game works, what the Daily Trivia Challenge pays, or how a prize is received.
What to do
- Download the app and register. A phone number is required at sign-up for account security. Participation follows the Terms of Use and the End User License Agreement.
- In a live game, the host asks 10 questions. Each question has 3 answers. There are 10 seconds from the moment the host starts reading the question.
- A correct answer moves the player to the next question. All 10 correct wins the grand prize. If more than one player does that, the prize is split. The prize shown in the app is paid as SB.
- A question with a special icon in the top left is worth bonus SB. The host says when a question has that bonus and how many SB it is worth. At the end of the game, choose the button to claim that SB. SB that is not claimed is not added.
SB can be redeemed for PayPal or a gift card. 100 SB equals $1. A redemption can start at 300 SB. How do I redeem SB with PayPal? explains the PayPal path.
The Daily Trivia Challenge
The challenge is 10 questions from past live games, with 10 seconds for each. It can be played once a day, any time a live game is not on. Finish it by 11:59 pm Pacific. It resets at 12:00 am Pacific.
- 0 to 3 correct answers pay 0 SB.
- 4 or 5 correct answers pay 1 SB.
- 6 or 7 correct answers pay 2 SB.
- 8 or 9 correct answers pay 3 SB.
- 10 correct answers pay 10 SB.
Claim the SB with the button at the end of the challenge. Challenge SB does not count toward the Daily Goal. More Ways to Earn is a button on the home screen.
If that didn't work
A wrong answer, or no answer within 10 seconds, removes the player from the grand prize. One rejoin is available the first time that happens, and only before the final question. Rejoin with SB when the balance covers it, or with a free rejoin. Free rejoins start from the Rejoins button in the top left of the main menu, then a video. The rejoin is for the next live game. A message that says “Video currently not available” means try again later.
Bonus SB can still be earned on marked questions without a rejoin. Those SB still have to be claimed at the end.
To invite someone, open the three dots in the top right of the home screen, then Invite. A member who signs up with that link earns the sender 10% of the new member’s trivia winnings, for life. That invite is inside the trivia app. It is separate from the Swagbucks.com referral program.
When to contact us
A missed answer or a challenge that already reset does not need a ticket. Use the Help page when prize SB does not appear after it was claimed.
