Answer
Getting stopped near the end of a survey is frustrating. A disqualification means the survey ended because you were not a match for that study, or because your answers did not agree with each other. SB is not added for that survey. One disqualification ends that survey only. It does not turn surveys off on your account.
When this applies
This fits when a survey stops while you are taking it and the message says you do not qualify, or the survey ends before the last question.
A message that says surveys are not for you means surveys were turned off on the account. That is a different situation. Why are surveys not for me? explains what that message means.
A survey you finished, with SB missing afterward, is also different. I completed a survey, but did not receive SB explains what to check next.
Why the survey ended
The survey company is looking for a specific group of people, such as a certain age or occupation. When your answers do not match that group, the survey ends and your answers are left out of the results.
Some surveys ask the same question twice to check that you are reading the questions. Conflicting answers end the survey. The survey company is checking that the answers match.
What to do
You can take another survey. Start here:
- Read the message on the screen. If the message says you do not qualify, SB is not added for that survey.
- Close the survey and return to your survey list. New surveys are added every day.
- On the survey list, a percentage can show how likely you are to qualify from the details already on your profile. Finishing a pre-screener does not guarantee a place in the survey.
If that didn't work
If every survey ends immediately, or the account says surveys are no longer available, surveys may have been turned off. Why are surveys not for me? is the article for that. A single disqualification does not turn surveys off.
When SB is not awarded
Survey companies need honest, careful answers. SB is not awarded for a survey that is only partly finished. SB can also be withheld, and the account can be closed, for these actions:
- Giving false or misleading information to register, or to qualify for a survey.
- Speeding through a survey, or finishing a survey well under the usual time.
- Entering answers that do not respond to the question.
- Completing the same survey more than once.
- Creating more than one account.
- Sharing a survey link, or posting a survey link on the internet, unless Swagbucks asked you to share it.
- Registering under age 13 in the United States. The age rule is different in other countries.
When to contact us
A disqualification does not need a message to Swagbucks. SB is not added for that survey. If the screen said you completed the survey and the SB is still missing, sign in and open your Activity ledger, find that survey, and choose Get Help.
