Answer
A survey that stops on an error is easy to read as unfinished work that should still pay. A technical error means the page failed, froze, or showed an error before the last question. That survey did not finish, and SB is not added for it.
When this applies
This fits when the survey stopped on an error, a blank page, or a frozen page.
A message that you do not qualify is a disqualification. Why did the survey disqualify me before I finished? explains that message. SB is not added for a disqualification.
A message that the survey was completed, with the SB missing afterward, is a different situation. I completed a survey, but did not receive SB. What can I do? explains what to check.
What to do
- Read the last message on the survey. If it says you do not qualify, stop here. SB is not added for that survey. If it says the survey was completed, follow the completed-survey article instead.
- Write down the Survey ID if it is still on the screen. The Survey ID is also shown before the survey opens.
- Close the survey and return to the survey list. Retrying the same broken survey in the same session does not finish it.
- Sign in and open the Activity ledger. Choose the filter that says All Activity Types, then choose Answer. Survey SB is listed there.
- If the SB for that Survey ID is already listed, nothing else is needed.
If the survey stated a time
Some surveys say, before they start, that SB will not show right away. Wait for the time that survey stated. The SB is not missing until that time has passed.
A screenshot of the error can be requested later. The screenshot needs to show the error text and the Survey ID.
If that didn't work
If the time stated on that survey has passed, or the survey did not state a time, and Answer in the Activity ledger still has no SB for that Survey ID, sign in, open the Activity ledger, find the survey, and choose Get Help. Include the Survey ID.
If surveys are no longer available on the account, Why are surveys not for me? explains that message.
When to contact us
Contact Swagbucks from the Activity ledger when the SB for that Survey ID is still missing. If the survey stated a time, wait until that time has passed. A disqualification does not need a message.
