Swagbucks search, referrals, surveys, and posts have rules. Search is for real searches. Referral links go to people the member knows. Survey answers stay honest and private. One person has one account.

Searching
Search can earn SB. There are three ways to search.
- Set the browser search engine to Swagbucks Search.
- Use the search bar on Swagbucks.com.
- Open search.swagbucks.com.
Use Swagbucks Search the same way as any other search site.
Searching don'ts
- Do not search the web only to win SB.
- Do not click links that are not of genuine interest.
- Do not use a bot or a program that searches on its own.
Referrals and social media
- Send email invitations to friends, family, and associates through the Invite a Friend link.
- Create a memorable Swag Name so the referral link is easy to use.
- Place the referral link in an email signature.
- Take part in online communities and forums where people may be interested in SB.
- Create a video that explains SB and includes the referral link.
- Share appropriate Swagbucks content, links, or ideas on the Swagbucks Facebook wall and on discussion boards.
Referral and social media don'ts
- Do not send referral emails or texts to strangers.
- Do not post referral links or bulletin-board code on websites that prohibit them.
- Do not promise rewards or payments in exchange for signing up with a referral link.
- Do not create a video that makes inaccurate or false promises about Swagbucks rewards.
- Do not repost another member's photos, video, or other content as if it were new.
- Do not promote web pages other than Swagbucks.com on the Swagbucks Facebook wall or in any commenting area on Swagbucks.com.
- Do not post in public forums that video, offers, or other activity on Swagbucks.com is only for SB.
- Do not play videos, open articles, or open other content that awards SB without actively engaging with that content.
- Do not post, share, or distribute any video or content that promotes Swagbucks cheats. Those cheats are generally fake and can be dangerous phishing scams.
- Do not post a referral link on any Swagbucks social media page.
- Do not spam the Swagbucks Facebook wall.
Surveys
- Provide honest answers.
- Read each question carefully before answering.
- Report it when a third party makes contact about survey opportunities, or about joining a panel, without permission to be contacted.
Survey don'ts
- Do not speed through surveys. Speeding is a factor in disqualifications.
- Do not share survey details with friends or on public forums. That includes survey contents, survey titles, survey IDs, the time of completion, and screenshots.
Other don'ts
- Do not submit inappropriate or offensive photos, ideas, or videos.
- Do not bully, and do not post anything offensive, profane, or hateful toward other members or toward support.
- Do not create more than one Swagbucks account for one user.
- Do not spam the Rewards Store comments.
- Do not complete surveys or offers with fraudulent or inaccurate information.
- Do not manipulate cookies or browser settings in order to defraud Swagbucks, or to get around controls set by Swagbucks or by its advertisers or sponsors.
